Made close to the Mediterranean from Catalonia's classic sparkling grapes, this is a dry, food-loving fizz with real backbone. Fine bubbles and a lift of citrus make it as good with a snack as with a full meal. Keep a bottle cold for whenever friends turn up.

Bright gold with greenish hues and fine, persistent bubbles. Fresh fruit and spring flowers with a citrus touch and a background of yeast and fine pastry. Smooth, with excellent acidity, white fruit and a grapefruit lift. Aged at least 9 months on lees.
