Ripasso is often called baby Amarone, made by re-passing the young wine over the dried grape skins left over from making Amarone. That extra step builds real depth and warmth, giving you much of the drama of a big Valpolicella for less. We pour it with hearty pasta, mushroom risotto, and Sunday roasts.
