the wine
This is a serious Cabernet with the structure and depth to stand up to a proper roast. We open it for lamb, short ribs, and aged cheese, when the meal can meet the wine halfway. It drinks well now and has the frame to reward a few more years in the cellar.
tasting notes
Deep cherry red, with black and red fruit, plum, blackcurrant and cherry over fresh tobacco, cinnamon and roasted coffee. Full-bodied, with abundant velvety tannins, balanced and complex.
shipping
Orders ship in protective packaging within 2 business days. An adult signature (21+) is required on delivery. We hold shipments during extreme heat or cold and email you first.

from Morandé.
Morande is closely tied to the early development of Chile's Casablanca Valley, part of the pioneering movement that showed cooler coastal ground could yield distinctive wines, and it now draws fruit from across several of the country's valleys.
