Luis Montoto founded Wine41 in 2015, after a decade as Business Development and Export Manager for the Americas at one of Catalunya's four largest Cava producers. In those ten years he grew a portfolio of Catalan wines and cavas from four countries of distribution to twenty-one, across twenty-six importers, and learned firsthand how taste evolves market by market, culture by culture, sip by sip.

Today Wine41 is a concierge wine company. Luis manages the full wine lifecycle for his clients, from portfolio curation and pricing to private tastings, corporate events, and brand development, for individual collectors, corporate accounts, event companies, media producers, and nonprofits. What brings them all to him is the same thing: trust, earned through experience and protected through integrity.

Before wine there was nonprofit work and printed media, a certified fundraiser's understanding of community, and a communicator's instinct for storytelling. Luis is a recognized Cava educator and speaker who has been featured on TV and in newspapers and magazines. Wine41 was built with the indispensable partnership of his wife Maylen, who has run events, marketing, gift production, and public relations from the beginning, and the company gives back to South Florida through Chapman's Partnership, St. Jude's, Sebastian Strong, the Red Cross, and Live Like Bella.

One thing that surprises people who know him professionally: he has studied classical and flamenco guitar since the age of seven. Faith, family, and a genuine love for the work remain his north star.
